Abstract: In order to elucidate the roles of VHA-c3 gene against abiotic stress in Arabidopis thaliana, the designed double strand DNA fragments was integrated into the genome of Arabidopsis thaliana by Agrobacterium mediation, and then nine transgenic lines c3-1~c3-9 was screened to specifically silence the coding gene of VHA-c3 subunit. It was found that under the stress of ABA or glucose, the relative root length and the germination rate of seeds of c3-1 line did not decreased obviously as wild strain.... More
