Abstract: Hydrangea paniculata Sieb.（Saxifragaceae） is widely distributed in Anhui, Jiangxi, Zhejiang, Guangxi, Yunnan Provinces and so on. The plant is used to bring down fever, relieve sore throat and treat malaria in folk medicine.
