Abstract: The process optimization of furfural preparation from the carbohydrates degradation products in the eucalypt pre- hydrolysis liquid by the sulfuric acid catalyst was studied in this paper. The optimum conditions were given,the yield of furfural was 71. 89%. The relative contents of furfural,5- methyl furfural,2- acetyl furfural,and phenol in the furfural were analyzed by GC / MS.
