Separation of natural chiral cyclic terpenoid compounds from high-boiling components of rosinChinese Full Text

Abstract: The natural chiral cyclic terpenoid compounds,such as longifolene,isolongifolene,β-caryphyllenol,and abietic acid,were obtained from high boiling components of rosin via reaction and separation processes.The purity of longifolene,isolongifolene,β-caryphyllenol,and abietic acid was 95.12%,98.37%,99.75%,and 99.15%,respectively,as determined by GC and HPLC.The product yield after separation was over 80%.The products were characterized by 1HNMR,MS,and IR spectroscopies.
