Abstract: Several kinds of SO 2- 4/M xO y solid superacids were used to catalyze the synthesis of terpinyl acetate. Four kinds of them, SO 2- 4/TiO 2, SO 2- 4/ZrO 2, SO 2- 4/SnO 2 and SO 2- 4/Fe 2O 3 have high catalytic activities.
