Abstract: Hot-press temperature as function of time was derived by analogy from the similarity between hot-pressing temperature curve of laminated veneer lumber and Malthus model.The coefficient of temperature rise velocity(k-value) was obtained by a nonlinear curve-fitting method with SPSS program,and the accuracy and efficiency of this model was validated with practical examples.The results show that the correlation coefficient R~2-value of experiments and fitting curve is above 0.95 and that hot-press ... More
