Abstract: Sweet cherry were coated with different concentration of bleached shellac at room temperature in this experiment.The results showed that bleached shellac was effective on reducing respiration intensity,inhibiting the loss of water and the rot of fruit.Meanwhile,the quality of fruit was still well.The appropriate coating was mixture of 2.0% bleached shellac and 1.5% CaCl2.When the treated sweet cherry were stored for 10 days,compared with control,the loss of water reduced 48.33%,the rot index red...
