Abstract: Platygaster robiniae Buhl and Duso(Hymenoptera: Platygastridae) is an important and specialized natural enemy of the black locust gall midge Obolodiplosis robiniae(Diptera: Cecidomyiidae), an invasive insect pest in China. It is an egg-larvae parasitoid of the gall midge and plays a significant role in natural control of O. robiniae.
