Abstract: The Choerospondias axillaris seeds from 8 locations ranging 6 provinces in southern China were studied. Seed size, form, collar, seedling height growth rhythm and growth 2 year after planting showed obvious differences among provenances. The seeds from west-southern provenances were significantly smaller than ones from eastern. The time of growth cease of southern provenances were slightly later.
