Abstract: Eucalyptus scrimber with density of 0.95 g/cm3 was made by cold-pressing and painted with polyurethane. The properties of the original and painted Eucalyptusscrimber samples were tested to evaluate feasibility for application to furniture materials. The results showed that the Eucalyptusscrimber samples had excellent water resistance, mechanical properties and very low formaldehyde emissions.
