Abstract: To investigate the phenolic constituents of Kalopanax septemlobus（Thunb.） Koidz.,chromatographic techniques including open column,semi-preparative HPLC and PTLC as well as recrystallization were employed in the isolation and purification of phenolic constituents.As a result,6 phenolic constituents were obtained from the roots of Kalopanax septemlobus（Thunb.） Koidz.,and their structures were elucidated as ethyl orsellinate（1）,2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-3,6-dimethylbenzoic acid（2）,vanillin（3）,protocatech...
