Preliminary Study on Photosynthetic Characteristics of 5 Species of Alnus B. Ehrh.Chinese Full Text

Abstract: Introduction of 5 species of Alnus B. Ehrh, like A. formosana, A. japonica, A.glutinosa etc. from Canada and Taiwan in 1999 and 2000, and determination on their adaptation showed that A.glutinosa could grow well in the southern China, light saturation points (LSP) of A. japonica was "twin-peaked". Studies demonstrated that photosynthe-tic rates (Pn), stomatal conductance, chlorophyll content of the introduced 5 species of Alunus B. Ehrh had evident difference.
