Abstract: In order to improve the performance of image edge detection and shorten the processing time,we proposed a real-time video edge detection system based on FPGA.The system takes EP2C8Q208C8 as the experimental hardware platform,first the system receive the analog video data by using camera OV7670 and storage this data by the dual-port SDRAM,utilize the characteristic of FPGA parallel processing to realize the improved Canny edge detection algorithm by Verilog HDL hardware description language and f...
