Abstract: Objective To study the effect of peony seed oil on hyperlipidemic rats,and to explore the effect on diabetic mice and glucose tolerance on normal mice.Methods High fat diet was fed for hyperlipidemic model on SD male rats.At the same time,peony seed oil was intragastric administered for 30 days.Serum TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C levels were detected.Diabetic rats model was established by caudal vein injection of alloxan.After 30 days of intragastric administration,glucose level in blood was determined.... More
