Abstract: In this study, R. chinensis ‘Dianhong’, an edible rose cultivar with few lateral branches, was used as materials. The outgrowth dynamics of the first to tenth axillary buds of R. chinensis ‘Dianhong’ after decapitation were observed. The contents of endogenous hormones in axillary buds and root tips were determined by ELISA, and the relationship between axillary bud outgrowth and endogenous hormones was analyzed.
