Abstract: The chemical consitituents and bioactivities of three Compositae and one Scrophulariaceae species were studies.One hundred and seven compounds were isolated,and twenty-one of them were new compounds. The Ligularia genus is genera of family Compositae tribe Senecioneae subtribe Senecioninae and perennial herbs,It consists of about 130 species in the world,with 111 species distributed mainly in northwest and southwest of China.More than 30 Ligularia species have long been used as folk medicine...
