Abstract: A novel chemical analysis method was investigated for the rapid determination of Mydecamycin potency. Through choose of ware length; reaction condition and stability test, the experiment results clearly demonstrate that the pH of end reaction was 5% HCl, lay up 30 min, the UV detector was 530 nm, and there was a good linearity in range of 0.4 5.0ug（γ=0.9997）.
