Abstract: A trial of 30 Acacia mearnsii provenances,13 hm2 in area,was laid out on fivesites in four southern provinces in China。 The 5-year results of the trial showed there aresignificant differences between provenances in growth rate,tree form and bark thickness。Average volume of single-tree of 6 superior provenances are 21%～95%higher than theoverall mean,and the content of the tannin of 6 superior provenances are 2%～7%higherthan the overall mean。No signific... More
