Effects of Levodopa on experimental gastric ulcerChinese Full Text

Abstract: OBJECTIVE To investigate the effects of Levodopa on gastric ulcer on different experimental animal models.METHODS The model of water immersion restraint stress ulcer in mice,the model of gastric ulcer induced by ethanol,and the model of pyloric ligation in rats were established.RESULTS Levodopa remarkably reduced the index of ulcer and decreased the amount of the gastric juice on animal models.CONCLUSION Levodopa has anti-gastric ulcer effect.
