Abstract: We use the co-seismic rupture data for geological surveys of the 1923 MS7.3 Renda earthquake and the 1973 MS7.4 Luhuo earthquake to invert the historical earthquake rupture models based on elastic half-space dislocation model and least squares method. The co-seismic slip distribution of the Renda earthquake is considered as the disturbance source, and we calculate the co-seismic and post-seismic Coulomb stress changes on the fault plane using the PSGRN/PSCMP program.
