Abstract: Carbon storage and component for the tree layer and undergrowth were compared between two 26-year-old plantations of broad-leaved species,Phobe bournei,and conifer species,Cunninghamia lanceolata(Chinese Fir),in Youxi, Fujian Province.The results showed carbon storage of tree layer was 61.7 t·hm-2 for Phobe bournei,which was lower than that of Cunninghamia lanceolata(72.7 t·hm-2);but the carbon storage of undergrowth was 1.5 t·hm-2 for Phobe bournei,which was higher than that of Cunninghamia lan...
