Abstract: The upper limit of sedimentary time of the shallow metamorphic clastic rocks of the Hongshan Formation is about 250 Ma in the northeast of Jiaohe, Jilin Province, of which the zircon age of silty slate debris ranges from 867 Ma to 184 Ma and that of argillaceous siltstone debris ranges from 810 Ma to 181 Ma.
